On June 19th, we held our 3rd annual Summer Solstice Workshop at Cain Park in Cleveland. We had what we thought was a well-organized plan after three years - meet at the park at 6PM unless it rains - and in case of rain, we were to proceed to InspiralMotion. Of course, life is not so tidy - our plan did not account for when it rained all morning, cleared up, and then began raining again 10 minutes into the vinyasa - not just raining, but thundering and lightening.
When you are on an open field - lightening is nature's namaste. So, the small - but fantastic and intrepid - crew that were not intimidated by the morning rain headed over to Lopez's for some food, drink and wonderful company. ...And on to July 4th where we enjoyed a spectacular long weekend at the New Jersey Shore. I taught a small class and practiced yoga with my cousin inside a bird sanctuary - see some photos from this weekend HERE.
